The work consists of a stylistic grouping of a family. It is constructed of mild steel plates cut to abstract forms of a man, woman, boy and girl. At the back of the boy figure felt has been attached with double sided tape. The pieces are independent of one another. It appears that the steel was primed light grey overall and then painted. The male figures are painted black while the females are painted brick red. There is a plaque tucked between glass and plexi and consists of a foam, sticker-like material adhered to a thin, aluminum plate. The figures are placed between the walkway glass and a wooden handrail. Plastic, accordion-like devices have been placed behind each parent figure, likely to provide tension and support the pieces. The boy figure rests on the applied felt while the girl figure rests directly on the glass. All four figures sit on a strip of felt that has been adhered to the window frame with double-sided tape.
