An inadequate amount of chlorine sanitizer was noted in the final rinse of the dish machine. Machine was primed to correct the violation. Be sure to check the concentration daily with a test strip. Also if the jug of sanitizer runs dry the machine will need to be primed again when the new jug of sanitizer is replaced.

An inadequate amount of chlorine sanitizer was noted in the final rinse of the dish machine. The dishwasher is pumping sanitizer into the unit so that indicates that the problem is either that the solution itself is too weak (old) or that the machine is not pumping enough into the unit. Before adjusting the amount pumped into the unit it is recommended to try obtaining new solution first. This is a critical violation and will be re-inspected for on or before 9-25-25. If more time is needed the facility must contact the inspector to delay re-inspection.
