Artwork: Granite Lantern - South
City condition notes

The piece in question is a squat, granite Japanese lantern composed of five separate carved segments. The stone has been ground and smoothed to a finish but not polished. It is unknown how the individual segments are connected (ie: pins, adhesive, etc.), though a possible pin connection between bottom 3 segments with putty like epoxy was noted. The piece is likely slightly embedded into the granite boulder as evidenced by cementitious grout around the feet of the sculpture.
