Zoo added these sculptures as part of a large CIP project in 2015. They became assets of the City of Sioux Falls upon completion of the project. Dan Simon, VP or Operations for the Zoo, provided information to Russ Sorenson June 2016 and asked that they be added to the annual maintenance program. Russ and I asked that Zoo budget be allocated for ongoing maintenance expense. Have not heard confirmation about that so they have not been included in the annual maintenance program yet.
